With almost twenty years of experience in civil litigation, Rosalie Borgardts has managed cases across multiple practice areas including personal injury and wrongful death cases involving vehicular negligence, railroad accidents, professional negligence, product liability, and medical malpractice. As an expert paralegal, Rosalie assists the firm partners in all aspects of a case from interviewing witnesses to courtroom support. Rosalie also serves as the firm’s administrator.
Rosalie is a member of many established legal associations throughout Kansas City. She is a member of the Kansas City Paralegal Association where she has served on the board as Vice President. Additionally, she is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers.
Rosalie received her B.A. from Seattle University and a paralegal certificate from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Rosalie continues her education by attending seminars and conferences throughout the United States through the American Association for Justice.
Outside of work Rosalie enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, and traveling.
Micaela R. Staley
Micaela Staley brings over 7 years experience in multiple practice areas of law to her role as paralegal. In her previous roles, she managed cases in personal injury, business, real estate, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. With a primary focus at Wendt Law Firm P.C. in personal injury, Micaela performs legal research, trial preparation, legal document preparation, maintains client accounts and client correspondence.
Micaela has a B.S. in Psychology and Biology from St. Louis University. She volunteers at the Child Protection Center, and is an avid traveler, gardener and reader.
Gloria Amos joined our firm after working with the Honorable Stephen R. Bough as a Federal Judicial Assistant.
Prior to Judge Bough joining the Bench in January 2015, Gloria was an executive legal assistant at his law office for 10 years. Assisting with many cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, bad faith insurance claims and wrongful death.
She maintains a Bachelor’s Degree in Court Reporting from 2004, but after two years, she left that position and chose a career in private law practice.
Gloria performs many duties at the Wendt Law Firm and assists our team in all aspects of case handling and firm organization.
Gloria takes joy in spending time with family, going to concerts, sports events, and especially loves to read.
